MacBook Pro: What you need to know
There are three different MacBook Pro sizes: the 13-, 14- and 16-inch models. The 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro were updated with M2 Pro and M2 Max chips in January 2023, and a 13-inch MacBook Pro with M2 chip went on sale on June 17, 2022. You may be able to get some good deals on the discontinued M1, M1 Pro and M1 Max models as resellers clear out old stock–scroll to the bottom of this article to check prices for the discontinued models.

While Apple rarely discounts new Macs, from time to time there are some excellent deals to be had in Apple’s Refurbished Store. The Macs in Apple’s refurbished store may be ex-display stock, or they may have been returned to Apple due to a fault, but they are fully reconditioned now and come with a full year’s warranty.
